Gay Friendly: Gay Wedding Officiants in Cincinnati, OH, USA
Your wedding is a vivid reflection of you! Every decision you make is a brush stroke on the work of art that will be your wedding day. The ceremony is the heart and soul of your wedding and no decision is more important than who you choose to be your CincinnatiCelebrant. I would be honored to work with you to create that profound and transforming ceremony.
I can barely contain my joy and delight in performing same-sex marriages in the Cincinnati, Kentucky and Indiana Tri-state Area. Although, even in the wilds of the Mid-West attitudes had been steadily changing, I was completely taken aback by the suddenness of the change in the legal situation.
Since that fateful Friday in June 2015 I have performed a steady stream of same-sex marriages in my home, my garden, on riverbanks & cliffs, in public buildings and gardens; each one profoundly moving and affirming. I am struck by the love and commitment and the sense of our place in history.
It is my goal to write a ceremony that is exactly what you want it to be. I have no preconceived notion of what your wedding should be. It can be as traditional or outrageous as you are! I can work with any religion, philosophy or predilection you may have.
Every couple has a unique love story. That is the essence of the ceremony. Nothing makes a wedding more personal and meaningful than to tell your story as a central feature of the ceremony. I strive to capture and transmit to your guests the depth and character of your relationship. Your wedding will be a reflection of who you are and your unique culture as a couple.
I am a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant with specialized training in creating rituals and writing ceremonies for the modern world. Your ceremony will be imbued with meaning and symbolism that is specific to you and your philosophy of life, of love and marriage. Ancient, traditional and cultural rituals can be reinterpreted to speak to your philosophy and experience of the modern world. New rituals can be created using elements of your work, your life or your love story. This is a very exciting part of creating custom ceremonies. Which is not to say that traditional rituals are any less meaningful. I am a big fan of the traditional vows.
I am available for any wedding from the simplest elopement to the large formal affair. I offer a free no-obligation first meeting to discuss your plans. After signing a contract, I will send you a couple's questionnaire and I request that each of you fill this out separately. This is the information that I will use to write your ceremony, which is completely written out in detail. You have full approval over every word; nothing is said at your wedding that you have not approved! We will work together until it is perfect!
Congratulations! I look forward to meeting with you and seeing you smile on your wedding day.
